On a Roll Cafe is a gem in Lenox. Had a fantastic breakfast that included scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and perfectly grilled tomatoes. My partner had eggs over easy, bacon, homemade toast, grilled tomatoes, and a pancake. Everything was great and homemade toast was a great touch. The coffee was excellent and hit the spot. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. Would recommend.

Food was very tasty and well prepared, kind service in extremely pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Highly recommended!

On a Roll catered our recent wedding reception and they did a fantastic job! Owner David was really wonderful to work with through the process. He was accommodating, flexible, and kind. He and his staff seem to really care about making their customers happy. The food was great— our family and friends loved it!! I highly recommend them!! (Wish I had a better picture to share of the charcuterie board, we missed cocktail hour along with our photographers, but I heard it was a stand out!)

Small town authenticity at its finest. I sampled the lemon ricotta pancakes, the sausage brekkie sando on a roll and the breakfast BLT. Serving size was perfect. Nice folks and decent coffee too!

Absolutely fantastic! On A Roll was a gamble for us, as we were visiting the area for an overnight after seeing local show. We're pretty picky about our breakfast sammiches, so we were on the hunt for some of the local strong contenders. On A Roll had a welcoming feel after finding a spot in the ample parking lot, luring us in with Brunch Jazz playing from a carefully placed speaker hidden outside the restaurant. The vibe inside was calm and quiet, just what you need at 11AM on a Sunday morning. We got a table right away, and had a short wait to get served coffee and water. The coffee is on point, not the usual diner pour with tannins that slap your tonsils, but instead a warming miasma of no-nonsense arabica delight. The food: cannot give the place enough props for doing the basics right, including making their own bread in-house, and even more tantalizaing, their own handmade sausage. I make my own bread and sausage for my wife in our own house, so it was nice to meet another chef who gets it. French Toast was comprised of thick multigrain slices with real local maple syrup, while the pancakes had real strawberries and granola in them in perfect ratios. Food overall was quick, yet very high quality, and really made us feel home away from home. The sausage itself was the highlight of the show (for me), and had strong notes of brown sugar, fresh sage, and crushed rosemary along with plenty of salt, all in a generous patty that seems grilled with a weight on top so it doesn't curl on you. Perfectly cooked, 10/10, once you try it you'll never go back. See you in the summer!

Chose this location for breakfast with a family group of 8 since it was quite convenient to the hotel we were staying at across the street. There was plenty of seating for us on a Saturday morning at 9am, though the place had plenty of customers. The service was excellent as we were being attended to by a few individuals. It happened to be an usually cool morning, but the coffee was hot and fresh to get us all warmed up. The fresh baked blueberry muffins were absolutely delicious and everyone seemed quite satisfied with their meals, ranging from bacon and eggs, to avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee refills kept coming and the staff really kept on top of our needs. A wonderful place that I’d highly recommend!

An absolute delight. The Eggs Benny Special - with Brie and avocado was amazing. Rivals the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the food - locally sourced, and including real maple syrup really stands out. One of the best restaurants I’ve enjoyed in the USA, for the quality of the food. Nice atmosphere. Lovely patio and surrounding area. Fast and friendly service. Original artwork. The owner even came over to ask how everything was. Will definitely return.
